| 17 | 17 | | The bill modifies the requirement imposed under current law that the |

| 18 | 18 | | department annually report on its activities to the Senate Natural Resources |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | Committee and the Assembly Committee on T ourism. Under the bill, the |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | department is directed to report to the appropriate standing committees of the |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | legislature, rather than the specifically named committees. |

| 22 | 22 | | Additionally, the bill repeals the following three provisions: |

| 23 | 23 | | 1. The requirement that the department distribute donated cheese that is made |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | in Wisconsin at tourist information centers. The department no longer operates |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | tourist information centers. |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | 2. The requirement that the Council on Tourism consider the use of famous |

| 27 | 27 | | Wisconsin residents and former residents in tourism marketing strategies. |

| 45 | 45 | | paragraph shall include information on the marketing efforts conducted for the |

| 46 | 46 | | Frank Lloyd Wright Trail established under s. 84.10255. |

| 47 | 47 | | SECTION 2. 41.11 (5) of the statutes is repealed. |
