School Instruction on Hmong
Americans and Asian Americans
State law requires public schools to provide an instructional program at all grade levels designed to give
students an understanding of human relations, particularly with regard to American Indians, Black
Americans, and Hispanics. Act 266 adds Hmong Americans and Asian Americans to this list.
Effective date: April 6, 2024
