| 7 | 7 | | The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | senate and assembly, do enact as follows: |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | SECTION 1.0Agreement ratified. The legislature rat- |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | ifies the tentative agreement negotiated for the 2022−23 |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | fiscal year between the state of Wisconsin, the division of |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | personnel management in the department of administra- |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | tion, and the Wisconsin State Attorneys Association, |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | covering employees in the professional legal collective |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | bargaining unit under subch. V of ch. 111, as approved by |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | the employees of the professional legal collective bar- |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | gaining unit and approved and recommended by the joint |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | committee on employment relations, and authorizes the |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | necessary expenditure of moneys for implementation |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | from the appropriations made by s. 20.865 (1), subject to |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | s. 20.865 (intro.). The administrator of the division of |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | personnel management in the department of administra- |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | tion shall file an official copy of the agreement, certified |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | by the cochairpersons of the joint committee on employ- |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | ment relations, with the secretary of state. No formal or |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | informal agreement between the parties that is not a part |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | of the official copy is deemed to be approved by the legis- |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | lature under this act. |

| 29 | 29 | | SECTION 2.0Effective date. |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | (1) This act takes effect on the day after publication, |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | except that those provisions specifically identified as |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | having other effective dates in the agreement covering |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | employees in the professional legal collective bargaining |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | unit are effective on the dates provided in that agreement. |
