AN ACT to create 84.10477 of the statutes; relating to: designating and marking
the Deputy Kaitie Leising Memorial Highway.
Analysis by the Legislative Reference Bureau
This bill directs the Department of Transportation to designate and mark STH
128 from STH 64 to I 94 as the “Deputy Kaitie Leising Memorial Highway” in honor
and recognition of St. Croix County Sheriff's Deputy Kaitie Leising.

an appendix to this bill.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
SECTION 1. 84.10477 of the statutes is created to read:
84.10477 Deputy Kaitie Leising Memorial Highway . The department
shall designate and mark STH 128 from STH 64 to I 94 as the “Deputy Kaitie Leising
Memorial Highway” in honor and recognition of St. Croix County Sheriff's Deputy
Kaitie Leising.
