AN ACT to create 84.02 (5) (d) 2. q. of the statutes; relating to: identification of
the Mount Horeb Veterans Memorial on state highway maps.
Analysis by the Legislative Reference Bureau
Current law requires the Department of Transportation to publish highway
service maps and folded highway maps of the state highway system. DOT must
identify on these highway service maps and folded highway maps each veterans
memorial highway or bridge and the location of specified veterans memorials,
homes, and museums. This bill requires DOT to identify the location of the Mount
Horeb Veterans Memorial on these maps.

an appendix to this bill.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
SECTION 1. 84.02 (5) (d) 2. q. of the statutes is created to read:
84.02 (5) (d) 2. q. The Mount Horeb Veterans Memorial in the village of Mount
Horeb in Dane County.
SECTION 2.0Initial applicability.

(1) This act first applies to highway maps published after the effective date of
this subsection.
