8 | | - | SECTION 1. 36.49 (4) of the statutes is amended to |

10 | | - | 36.49 (4) Award the balance in annual scholarships |

11 | | - | called “Wisconsin Merit scholarships,” which shall be |

12 | | - | based only on merit, to students who are enrolled in an |

14 | | - | ated from high school in this state or been granted a high |
