***AUTHORS SUBJECT TO CHANGE***
AN ACT to repeal 66.1010 of the statutes; relating to: repealing the prohibition
against local governments enacting or enforcing an eviction moratorium on a
landlord.
Analysis by the Legislative Reference Bureau
Under current law, no city, village, town, or county may enact or enforce an
ordinance that imposes a moratorium on a landlord from pursuing an eviction action
against a tenant of the landlord's residential or commercial property.
This bill repeals that provision.
For further information see the local fiscal estimate, which will be printed as
an appendix to this bill.
