1111 AN ACT to create 938.30 (2r) of the statutes; relating to: imposing conditions
1212 on a juvenile between a plea hearing and a fact-finding hearing or disposition

1515 This bill grants the juvenile court the ability to impose reasonable restrictions
1616 on a juvenile's conduct, including travel, association with other persons, alcohol or
1717 drug use, and school attendance, during the time between the plea hearing and the
1818 conclusion of any fact-finding hearing or any disposition hearing. An order
1919 restricting a juvenile's conduct may be entered after the juvenile submits a denial at
2020 a plea hearing.
2121 The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
2222 enact as follows:
2323 SECTION 1. 938.30 (2r) of the statutes is created to read:
2424 938.30 (2r) PRE-DISPOSITION RESTRICTIONS. If the juvenile initially enters a
2525 denial, the court may in its discretion enter an order imposing reasonable
2626 restrictions on the juvenile's conduct, including travel, association with other

3939 SECTION 2.0Initial applicability.
4040 (1) This act first applies to a proceeding for a violation of criminal law, civil law,
4141 or municipal ordinance allegedly committed on the effective date of this subsection.
