1010 To create assembly rule 14 (4); relating to: order of testimony at public hearings.

1212 The resolution amends the assembly rules to provide that testimony at any
1313 public hearing must be received in the following order: if the public hearing is on a
1414 proposal, the author or authors of the proposal; members of the public and local
1515 government officials; and state government officials and individuals registered as
1616 lobbyists.
1717 Resolved by the assembly, That:
1818 SECTION 1. Assembly rule 14 (4) is created to read:
1919 ASSEMBLY RULE 14 (4) Testimony at any public hearing shall be received in the
2020 following order:
2121 (a) If the public hearing is on a proposal, the author or authors of the proposal.
2222 (b) Members of the public and local government officials. If any member is
2323 accompanied by an individual registered as a lobbyist, the member shall speak
2424 before the lobbyist.
