15 | 15 | | Assistance Reporting Information System. The Public Assistance Reporting |

16 | 16 | | Information System is a federal database used to check whether public assistance |

17 | 17 | | recipients may be receiving duplicate benefits in more than one state. The bill also |
---|
18 | 18 | | requires DHS to identify any veterans, dependents of veterans, and survivors |
---|
19 | 19 | | receiving benefits under the Medical Assistance program that are eligible for federal |

20 | 20 | | military-related health care benefits and encourage those individuals to apply for |
---|
21 | 21 | | the federal benefits for which they are eligible. |
