| 17 | 17 | | subdivision for the purpose of making payments to individuals under a guaranteed |

| 18 | 18 | | income program. “Guaranteed income program” is defined under the bill to mean a |

| 19 | 19 | | program under which individuals are provided with regular periodic cash payments |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | that are unearned and that may be used for any purpose. Programs under which an |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | individual is required to perform work or attend training are not “guaranteed income |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | programs” under the bill. |

| 23 | 23 | | The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do |

| 25 | 25 | | SECTION 1. 66.0601 (1) (d) of the statutes is created to read: |
