| 16 | 16 | | period of active duty under honorable conditions in the U.S. armed forces or in forces |

| 17 | 17 | | incorporated as part of the U.S. armed forces. |

| 18 | 18 | | This bill adds to the definition of “veteran" any person who was admitted to the |

| 19 | 19 | | United States under the Hmong Veterans' Naturalization Act. This definition |

| 20 | 20 | | applies only for the purpose of enabling such a person to indicate on his or her |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | operator's license or identification card that he or she is a veteran and does not apply |

| 22 | 22 | | to any other veteran benefit. |

| 29 | 29 | | admitted into the United States as a refugee from Laos under 8 USC 1157 and served |
