4-AN ACT to create 20.395 (4) (fq), 20.395 (4) (fv), 20.395 (4) (fx) and 85.53 of the statutes; relating to: an electric
5-vehicle infrastructure program and making an appropriation.
6-The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in
7-senate and assembly, do enact as follows:
8-SECTION 1.  20.005 (3) (schedule) of the statutes:  at the appropriate place, insert the following amounts
9-for the purposes indicated:

14-SECTION 2.  20.395 (4) (fq) of the statutes is created
15-to read:
16-20.395 (4) (fq)  Electric vehicle infrastructure, state
17-funds.  As a continuing appropriation, the amounts in the
18-schedule for the electric vehicle infrastructure program
19-under s. 85.53.
20-SECTION 3.  20.395 (4) (fv) of the statutes is created
21-to read:
22-20.395 (4) (fv)  Electric vehicle infrastructure, local
23-funds.  All moneys received from any local unit of gov-
24-ernment or other source for the electric vehicle infra-
25-structure program under s. 85.53, for such purposes.
26-SECTION 4.  20.395 (4) (fx) of the statutes is created
27-to read:
28-20.395 (4) (fx)  Electric vehicle infrastructure, fed-
29-eral funds.  All moneys received from the federal govern-
30-ment for the electric vehicle infrastructure program
31-under s. 85.53, for such purposes.
32-SECTION 5.  85.53 of the statutes is created to read:
33-85.53  Electric vehicle infrastructure program.
34-The department may establish and administer an electric
35-vehicle infrastructure program.  Under the program, the
36-department may provide funding for electric vehicle
37-infrastructure projects eligible for funding under state or
38-federal law, including under the National Electric Vehicle
39-Formula Program as provided in Division J, Title VIII, of
40-P.L. 117−58.  All funding under this section shall be from
41-the appropriations under s. 20.395 (4) (fq), (fv), and (fx).
