99 AN ACT to amend 36.27 (3n) (b) 3. and 38.24 (7) (b) 3. of the statutes; relating
1010 to: the age of eligibility for children of veterans eligible to receive state higher

1212 Analysis by the Legislative Reference Bureau
1313 Under current law, a child of an eligible veteran that is between the ages of 17
1414 and 26 may receive 128 credits or 8 semesters of tuition remission at University of
1515 Wisconsin System institutions or state technical colleges. This bill reduces the
1616 minimum age at which such an individual may receive the tuition remission from 17
1717 to 15 years of age.

2020 The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
2121 enact as follows:
2222 SECTION 1. 36.27 (3n) (b) 3. of the statutes is amended to read:
