1111 AN ACT to amend 20.370 (4) (hq) and 20.370 (4) (mq) of the statutes; relating
1212 to: funding for education on solid waste reduction, recovery, and recycling and
1313 making an appropriation.
1414 Analysis by the Legislative Reference Bureau
1515 Current law provides appropriations to the Department of Natural Resources
1616 from the segregated environmental fund for various environmental programs and
1717 for the administration of this state's solid waste reduction, recovery, and recycling
1818 programs. This bill allows two such appropriations to be used for the existing
1919 statewide program to educate government employees, businesses, and the general
2020 public about the state's solid waste reduction, recovery, and recycling programs.

2323 The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
2424 enact as follows:
2525 SECTION 1. 20.370 (4) (hq) of the statutes is amended to read:
2626 20.370 (4) (hq) Recycling; administration. From the environmental fund, the
2727 amounts in the schedule for the administration of subch. II of ch. 287, other than ss.
2828 287.21 and s. 287.23.

3737 SECTION 2 SENATE BILL 876
3838 SECTION 2. 20.370 (4) (mq) of the statutes is amended to read:
3939 20.370 (4) (mq) General program operations — environmental fund. From the
4040 environmental fund, the amounts in the schedule for administration of
4141 environmental activities under chs. 160, 281, 283, 285, and 289 to 299 and s. 287.21.
