1010 AN ACT to amend 66.0416 (title) and 66.0416 (3); and to create 66.0416 (2) (c)

1414 This bill prohibits a political subdivision from requiring a license or permit for
1515 a business, other than a business at which potentially hazardous food is sold, that
1616 is operated by a person under the age of 18 and that is operated only occasionally.

1919 The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
2020 enact as follows:
2121 SECTION 1. 66.0416 (title) of the statutes is amended to read:
2222 66.0416 (title) Stands Certain businesses operated by minors.
2323 SECTION 2. 66.0416 (2) (c) of the statutes is created to read:
2424 66.0416 (2) (c) Require a license or permit for a business that is operated by a
2525 person under the age of 18 and that is operated only occasionally. This paragraph

3838 SECTION 3. 66.0416 (3) of the statutes is amended to read:
3939 66.0416 (3) If a political subdivision has enacted an ordinance or adopted a
4040 resolution before November 27, 2019, that is inconsistent with sub. (2) (a), the
4141 ordinance or resolution does not apply and may not be enforced.
