| 16 | 16 | | Whereas, eye health conditions such as amblyopia, cataracts, glaucoma, |

| 17 | 17 | | macular degeneration, and refractive errors continue to affect individuals of all |

| 18 | 18 | | ages, underscoring the need for education and proactive measures; and |

| 19 | 19 | | Whereas, the month of May provides an opportunity to raise public awareness |

| 20 | 20 | | about the importance of protecting eyesight, promoting regular eye exams, and |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | supporting research and initiatives to improve eye health; and |
