1 AN ACT relating to the administration of government;
2 providing an expiration date for executive orders as
3 specified; specifying applicability; and providing for an

8. W.S. 9-1-225 is created to read:

12 Unless a newly elected governor issues an executive order
13 extending a lawfully issued executive order, executive

1 expire thirty (30) days after the previous governor leaves
2 office. No executive order shall be effective for longer
3 than thirty (30) days after the governor who issued the
4 order leaves office.

6This act applies to any executive order
7 currently in effect or issued on or after July 1, 2025.

9This act is effective July 1, 2025.
