| 19 | 19 | | 10 (a) There is appropriated two million one hundred |

| 20 | 20 | | 11 seventy-six thousand three hundred thirteen dollars |

| 21 | 21 | | 12 ($2,176,313.00) from the general fund to the University of |

| 22 | 22 | | 13 Wyoming for purposes of providing medical education under |

| 23 | 23 | | 14 this section. Not more than fifty-three thousand eighty-one |

| 25 | 25 | | 1 expended for administrative costs incurred by the |

| 26 | 26 | | 2 University of Wyoming in providing medical education under |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | 3 this section. This appropriation shall be for the period |

| 28 | 28 | | 4 beginning with the effective date of this section and |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | 5 ending June 30, 2029. This appropriation shall not be |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | 6 transferred or expended for any other purpose. |

| 31 | 31 | | 7 Notwithstanding W.S. 9-2-1008, 9-2-1012(e) and 9-4-207, any |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | 8 unexpended, unobligated funds from this appropriation shall |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | 9 revert as provided by law on June 30, 2028. It is the |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | 10 intent of the legislature that this appropriation be |
|---|
| 35 | 35 | | 11 doubled and included in the University of Wyoming's |
|---|
| 36 | 36 | | 12 standard budget for the immediately succeeding fiscal |
|---|
| 37 | 37 | | 13 biennium. |

| 39 | 39 | | 15 (b) The board of trustees of the University of |

| 40 | 40 | | 16 Wyoming is authorized to expand the course of training and |
|---|
| 41 | 41 | | 17 education offered by the university in the field of |
|---|
| 42 | 42 | | 18 medicine under a contract with the university of Utah |
|---|
| 43 | 43 | | 19 school of medicine as specified in subsection (c) of this |
|---|
| 44 | 44 | | 20 section and in accordance with W.S. 21-17-109. |

| 46 | 46 | | 2 University of Wyoming under a contract with the university |

| 47 | 47 | | 3 of Utah shall be subject to all of the following: |

| 49 | 49 | | 5 (i) Medical education shall be available for not |

| 50 | 50 | | 6 more than five (5) Wyoming resident students for a period |

| 51 | 51 | | 7 of four (4) years, commencing with academic year 2025‑2026; |

| 53 | 53 | | 9 (ii) The board of trustees of the University of |
|---|
| 54 | 54 | | 10 Wyoming shall obtain agreements from each student as |
|---|
| 55 | 55 | | 11 required by W.S. 21-17-109(d); |

| 57 | 57 | | 13 (iii) Medical education shall be subject to all |

| 58 | 58 | | 14 requirements of W.S. 21-17-109. |

| 61 | 61 | | 17 completion of all acts necessary for a bill to become law |
