28 | 28 | | 5 enforceable legal document through which the owners, or the |

29 | 29 | | 6 board of directors or similar governing body, manage or |

30 | 30 | | 7 regulate a residential subdivision, planned unit |
---|
31 | 31 | | 8 development, condominium or townhouse development, |
---|
32 | 32 | | 9 cooperative, mobile home association, nonprofit land trust |
---|
33 | 33 | | 10 or similar planned residential development. |

35 | 35 | | 12 (b) Except as otherwise provided by this section, no |
---|
36 | 36 | | 13 homeowners' association shall prohibit the indoor or |
---|
37 | 37 | | 14 outdoor display of a campaign sign, including any flag, |
---|
38 | 38 | | 15 advertising a candidate for nomination or election to |
---|
39 | 39 | | 16 public office or a clearly identified ballot proposition |
---|
40 | 40 | | 17 for an election. |
