W.S. 1-3-120 is created to read: 11 12 13 14 2025STATE OF WYOMING25LSO-00822SF00291 (a) No cause of action shall arise against a person 2 for returning a firearm to a firearm owner at the 3 termination of a firearm hold agreement. 4 5 (b) The immunity provided in subsection (a) of this 6 section shall not apply to an action arising against a 7 person for returning a firearm to a firearm owner at the 8 termination of a firearm hold agreement if the action was 9 the result of a breach of contract or otherwise unlawful 10 conduct on the part of the person holding a firearm for 11 another person. 12 13 (c) As used in this section, "firearm hold agreement" 14 means a written or oral agreement between a firearm owner 15 and another person in which the other person takes physical 16 possession of the firearm owner's lawfully possessed 17 firearm at the owner's request, holds the firearm for an 18 agreed period of time and returns the firearm to the owner 19 according to the terms of the agreement. 20 21 (d) This section shall not apply to firearms, 22 machineguns, rifles, shotguns and any other weapon under 23 the National Firearms Act (26 U.S.C. ยง 5801 et seq.). 2025STATE OF WYOMING25LSO-00823SF00291 2.
