(NEW) (Effective July 1, 2010) The Commissioner of Economic and Community Development may issue a certificate of eligibility to a business that meets the requirements of subsection (b) of section 32-9j of the general statutes. Such certificate shall specify such business is an "eligible business facility", as defined in said section. | |

Such financial assistance shall be in the form of a grant-in-aid in an amount not to exceed two-thirds of the net cost of the activities set forth in subsection (c) of this section which are carried out in connection with the project, and shall be made only to a nonprofit corporation [which] that has secured a commitment for mortgage financing from the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development or the Farmers' Home Administration.
