AN ACT REQUIRING THE ASSOCIATION OF A COMMON INTEREST 
COMMUNITY TO PROVIDE DETAILED EXPENDITURE NOTICES TO 
THE UNIT OWNERS. 
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General 
Assembly convened: 
 
That section 47-260 of the general statutes be amended to require the 1 
association of a common interest community to notify all unit owners 2 
of any personnel hired by the association including, but not limited to, 3 
consultants, contractors, maintenance personnel, accountants or other 4 
individuals hired by the board to perform tasks on behalf of the 5 
association. Such notification shall be in writing and include the 6 
individual's or entity's name, job title, job description and the amounts 7 
paid to such individual or entity. 8 
Statement of Purpose:   
To require the association of a common interest community to provide 
detailed expenditure notices to the unit owners.
