1818 AN ACT ESTABLISHING AN INTERNSHIP PROGRAM FOR ADULTS
1919 WITH AUTISM AND ALLOWING A BUSINESS TAX CREDIT FOR
2020 BUSINESSES THAT UTILIZE SUCH PROGRAM.
2121 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
2222 Assembly convened:

2424 That (1) section 17a-215c of the general statutes be amended to 1
2525 require the Commissioner of Developmental Services to establish an 2
2626 internship program for adults with autism spectrum disorder, and (2) 3
2727 chapter 208 of the general statutes be amended to allow a business tax 4
2828 credit of not more than two hundred dollars for every business that 5
2929 hires an adult with autism spectrum disorder as an intern at such 6
3030 business. 7
3131 Statement of Purpose:
3232 To establish an internship program for adults with autism spectrum
3333 disorder and allow a tax credit for businesses that utilize such
3434 program.
