1418 AN ACT ALLOWING BEHA VIOR ANALYSTS TO PARTICIPATE IN THE
1519 PROFESSIONAL ASSISTA NCE PROGRAM FOR REGU LATED
1620 PROFESSIONALS.
1721 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General

2024 Section 1. Subdivision (3) of subsection (a) of section 19a-12a of the 1
2125 general statutes is repealed and the following is substituted in lieu 2
2226 thereof (Effective July 1, 2019): 3
2327 (3) "Health care professionals" includes any person licensed or who 4
2428 holds a permit pursuant to chapter 370, 372, 373, 375, 375a, 376, 376a, 5
2529 376b, 376c, 377, 378, 379, 379a, 380, 381, 381a, 382a, 383, 383a, 383b, 6
2630 383c, 384, 384a, 384b, 384c, 384d, 385, 398 or 399; 7
27-Sec. 2. Subsection (b) of section 20-185k of the general statutes is 8
28-repealed and the following is substituted in lieu thereof (Effective July 9
29-1, 2019, and applicable to applications for license renewal made on or after 10
30-July 1, 2019): 11
31-(b) A license issued under this section may be renewed annually. 12
32-The license shall be renewed in accordance with the provisions of 13
33-section 19a-88, for a fee of one hundred [seventy-five] eighty dollars 14
34-for applications for renewal submitted on or after July 1, 2019. Each 15
35-behavior analyst applying for license renewal shall furnish evidence 16
36-satisfactory to the commissioner of having current certification with 17 Substitute Bill No. 923

44-Sec. 3. Section 19a-12d of the general statutes is repealed and the 19
45-following is substituted in lieu thereof (Effective July 1, 2019): 20
46-On or before the last day of January, April, July and October in each 21
47-year, the Commissioner of Public Health shall certify the amount of 22
48-revenue received as a result of any fee increase in the amount of five 23
49-dollars (1) that took effect October 1, 2015, pursuant to sections 19a-88, 24
50-19a-515, 20-65k, 20-74bb, 20-74h, 20-74s, 20-149, 20-162o, 20-162bb, 20-25
51-191a, 20-195c, 20-195o, 20-195cc, 20-201, 20-206b, 20-206n, 20-206r, 20-26
52-206bb, 20-206ll, 20-222a, 20-275, 20-395d, 20-398 and 20-412, and (2) 27
53-that took effect July 1, 2019, pursuant to section 20-185k, as amended 28
54-by this act, and transfer such amount to the professional assistance 29
55-program account established in section 19a-12c. 30
