15-SENIOR CITIZENS AND ADULTS WITH DISABILITIES.

1620 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General

1923 Section 1. (Effective from passage) (a) The Commissioners of Public 1
2024 Health, Aging and Disability Services and Social Services shall study the 2
2125 impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the health, safety and welfare of 3
2226 senior citizens, including, but not limited to, residents of nursing home 4
2327 facilities, as defined in section 19a-490 of the general statutes, and 5
2428 managed residential communities, as defined in section 19a-693 of the 6
25-general statutes, and adults with disabilities. 7
26-(b) Not later than January 1, 2022, the commissioners shall file a 8

30+(b) Not later than November 1, 2021, the commissioners shall file a 8
2731 report in accordance with the provisions of section 11-4a of the general 9
2832 statutes to the joint standing committees of the General Assembly 10
2933 having cognizance of matters relating to aging, human services and 11
3034 public health. The report shall include (1) the impact of the COVID-19 12
31-pandemic on the health, safety and welfare of senior citizens and adults 13
32-with disabilities, and (2) recommendations to mitigate the impact of any 14
