AN ACT ESTABLISHING A UNIT WITHIN THE DIVISION OF STATE
POLICE TO INVESTIGATE HATE CRIMES AND CRIMINAL ACTS
COMMITTED BY EXTREMIST GROUPS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That chapter 529 of the general statutes be amended to establish a 1
unit within the Division of State Police to investigate hate crimes and 2
criminal acts committed by extremist groups. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To establish a unit within the Division of State Police to investigate hate
crimes and criminal acts committed by extremist groups.
