Senate Bill No. 701 Special Act No. 21-6 AN ACT CONCERNING THE BOLTON LAKES REGIONAL WATER POLLUTION CONTROL AUTHORITY. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: Section 1. (Effective from passage) (a) As used in this section, "Bolton Lakes Regional Water Pollution Control Authority" means the regional water pollution control authority established on April 23, 2003, pursuant to the provisions of sections 22a-500 to 22a-519, inclusive, of the general statutes, by adoption of concurrent ordinances of the legislative bodies of the towns of Bolton and Vernon and "board of directors" means the board of directors of such authority appointed in accordance with the provisions of such concurrent ordinances. (b) Notwithstanding the provisions of subsection (c) of section 22a- 500 of the general statutes, subdivision (14) of subsection (a) of section 22a-501 of the general statutes or subsection (b) of section 22a-517 of the general statutes, any regulation adopted by the Commissioner of Energy and Environmental Protection pursuant to subsection (l) of section 22a-424 of the general statutes, any ordinance adopted by the towns of Bolton, Vernon, Manchester or Coventry, including any amendment to such ordinance, and any agreement entered into pursuant to any such provision, the board of directors of the Bolton Lakes Regional Water Pollution Control Authority may authorize the Senate Bill No. 701 Special Act No. 21-6 2 of 2 expansion of such authority's wastewater system into the town of Coventry and may take any action such board deems necessary to implement such expansion.
