17	26		Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
18	27		Assembly convened:

20		-	Section 1. ~~Subsection (a) of~~ section 10-29a of the 2022 supplement to 1
21		-	~~the general~~ statutes is amended by adding subdivisions (104) to (111), 2
22		-	~~inclusive, as~~ follows (Effective October 1, 2022): 3
23		-	(NEW) (104) The Governor shall proclaim the month of ~~June~~ of each 4
	29	+	Section 1. Section 10-29a of the 2022 supplement to the general 1
	30	+	statutes is amended by adding subdivisions (104) to (111), inclusive, as 2
	31	+	follows (Effective October 1, 2022): 3
	32	+	(NEW) (104) The Governor shall proclaim the month of March of each 4
24	33		year to be Women Veterans Month, in recognition of the service 5
25	34		provided by women veterans. Suitable exercises may be held in the State 6
26	35		Capitol and elsewhere as the Governor designates for the observance of 7
27	36		the month. 8
28	37		(NEW) (105) The Governor shall proclaim the month of September of 9
29	38		each year to be Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month, to raise public 10
30	39		awareness of Ovarian Cancer and available treatments for it. Suitable 11

50	58		(NEW) (108) The Governor shall proclaim June thirteenth of each 25
51	59		year to be Albinism Awareness Day, to raise public awareness of 26
52	60		Albinism. Suitable exercises may be held in the State Capitol and 27
53	61		elsewhere as the Governor designates for the observance of the day. 28
54	62		(NEW) (109) The Governor shall proclaim September seventh of each 29
55	63		year to be Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy Awareness Day, to raise 30
56	64		public awareness of this rare genetic disease that causes progressive 31
57	65		muscular degeneration and weakness and available treatments for it. 32
58	66		Suitable exercises may be held in the State Capitol and elsewhere as the 33
59	67		Governor designates for the observance of the day. 34
60	68		(NEW) (110) The Governor shall proclaim September fourteenth of 35
61	69		each year to be Free Enterprise Day, to recognize the contributions that 36
62	70		free enterprise has made to the state's economy. Suitable exercises may 37
63	71		be held in the State Capitol and elsewhere as the Governor designates 38
64	72		for the observance of the day. 39
65	73		(NEW) (111) The Governor shall proclaim September seventeenth of 40
66	74		each year to be Constitution Day, to commemorate the formation and 41
