To confirm the reappointment of Ms. Shukurat Adamoh-Faniyan to the Public Charter School
Board.
RESOLVED, BY COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, That this resolution
may be cited as the “Public Charter School Board Shukurat Adamoh-Faniyan Confirmation
Resolution of 2023”.
Sec. 2. The Council of the District of Columbia confirms the reappointment of:
Ms. Shukurat Adamoh-Faniyan
18th Place, SE
Washington, DC 20020
(Ward 8)
as a member of the Public Charter School Board, established by section 2214 of the District of
Columbia School Reform Act of 1995, approved April 26, 1996 (110 Stat. 1321; D.C. Official
Code § 38-1802.14), for a term to end February 24, 2027.
Sec. 3. The Council shall transmit a copy of this resolution, upon its adoption, to the
nominee and the Office of the Mayor.
Sec. 4. This resolution shall take effect immediately.
