To confirm the appointment of Ms. Carisa Stanley Beatty to the Public Charter School Board.
RESOLVED, BY COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, That this resolution
may be cited as the “Public Charter School Board Carisa Stanley Beatty Confirmation
Resolution of 2023”.
Sec. 2. The Council of the District of Columbia confirms the appointment of:
Ms. Carisa Stanley Beatty
Randolph Street, NE
Washington, DC 20018
(Ward 5)
As a member of the Public Charter School Board, established by section 2214 of the District of
Columbia School Reform Act of 1995, approved April 26, 1996 (110 Stat. 1321; D.C. Official
Code §38-1802.14), for a term to end February 24, 2026.
Sec. 3. The Council shall transmit a copy of this resolution, upon its adoption, to the
nominee and to the Office of the Mayor.
Sec. 4. This resolution shall take effect immediately.
