Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: 8

Section 1. Section 542.275, Florida Stat utes, is created 10
to read: 11
542.275 Mergers and acquisitions reporting; notice 12
required.—Any entity conducting business in the state which is 13
required to file the Notification and Report Form for Certain 14
Mergers and Acquisitions pursuant to the Hart -Scott-Rodino 15
Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976, 15 U.S.C. s. 18a(a), shall 16
provide written notice of such filing to the Office of the 17
Attorney General at the same time that notice is filed with the 18
Federal Government. 19
Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2022. 20
