32- Section 1. Advanced Air Mobility Study Task Force. — 19
33- (1) The Advanced Air Mobility Study Task Force, a task 20

35-adjunct to the Department of Transportation. The task force is 22
36-composed of the following members: 23
37- (a) The secretary of the Department of Transportation or 24
38-the secretary's designee, who shall serve as chair of the task 25

89- 9. One member representing a public airport located in a 52
90-county having a population of more than 1 million persons. 53
91- 10. One member representing a public airport located in a 54
92-county having a population of fewer than 1 million persons. 55
93- (2) Appointed members shall serve at the pleasure of the 56
94-appointing authority. 57
95- (3) Task force members shall serve without compensation 58
96-but are entitled to reimbursement for reasonable an d necessary 59
97-per diem and travel expenses incurred in the performance of 60
98-their duties as provided in s. 112.061, Florida Statutes. 61
99- (4) The Department of Transportation shall provide staff, 62
100-assistance, and facilities as are deemed necessary for the task 63
101-force to perform its duties. Funding for the task force shall be 64
102-paid from the State Transportation Trust Fund. 65
103- (5) The task force shall meet at the time and location as 66
104-the chair determines. The task force shall hold public hearings 67
105-and receive public com ment in locations throughout this state, 68
106-or by electronic means, such as teleconference, provided that a 69
107-means for active participation is accommodated. 70
108- (6) The task force shall: 71
109- (a) Assess and describe the current state of development 72
110-of the advanced air mobility industry, specifically the 73
111-deployment of eVTOL aircraft. As used in this section, the term 74
112-"eVTOL aircraft" means a type of aircraft that uses electric 75

103+of VTOL aircraft. As used in this section, the term "VTOL 66
104+aircraft" means aircraft capable of taking off and landing 67
105+vertically without use of a runway. 68
106+ (b) Identify and discuss any federal requirements that 69
107+must be met for deployment of advanced air mobility in this 70
108+state. 71
109+ (c) Recommend any revisions to current state law that may 72
110+impact the advanced air mobility industry, including, but not 73
111+limited to, any revisions that would create jurisdictional 74
112+consistency for advanced air mobility operations throughout this 75

126- (b) Identify federal, sta te, and local laws, rules, 77
127-regulations, and other requirements that may impact the 78
128-development of the advanced air mobility industry in this state, 79
129-including the potential deployment of eVTOL aircraft and 80
130-infrastructure. 81
131- (c) Recommend any changes to stat e laws and regulations 82
132-necessary to facilitate the continued development of the 83
133-advanced air mobility industry and deployment of eVTOL aircraft 84
134-and infrastructure in this state. 85
135- (d) Evaluate the potential integration of advanced air 86
136-mobility into local g overnment transportation plans. 87
137- (7) By October 1, 2023, the task force shall submit to the 88
138-Governor, the President of the Senate, and the Speaker of the 89
139-House of Representatives a report including the information, 90
140-findings, and recommendations required p ursuant to subsection 91
141-(6) and any other relevant material deemed appropriate by the 92
142-task force. Upon submission of the report, the task force is 93
143-abolished. 94
144- (8) This section expires December 31, 2023. 95
145- Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2022. 96

133+specified in subsection (4), as well as any other relevant 84
