2525 $200 billion; both countries are each other's largest foreign 13
2626 direct investors, having approximately $1 trillion invested in 14
2727 each other's economies; and the UK -US Trade and Investment 15
2828 Working Group has laid the groundwork to strengthen trade and 16
2929 investment ties for the present and in the future, including 17
3030 through the use of a free trade agreement, and 18
3131 WHEREAS, expansion of global trade, especially with the 19
3232 United Kingdom, is of vital importance to the growth of the 20
3333 United States' economy, small business participation in the 21
3434 international marketplace, and job creation, and 22
3535 WHEREAS, the state would benefit greatly from the 23
3636 ratification of a comprehensive free trade agree ment, which, 24
3737 since the United Kingdom is currently the largest foreign direct 25 

6464 Be It Resolved by the Legislature of the State of Florida: 41

6868 pursuing trade agreements, the executive branch is requ ested to 45
6969 complete a timely and successful negotiation of a comprehensive 46
