2323 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: 10

2525 Section 1. Section 252.3 711, Florida Statutes, is created 12
2626 to read: 13
2727 252.3711 Emergency Preparedness and Response Fund. — 14
2828 (1) The Emergency Preparedness and Response Fund is 15
2929 created within the Executive Office of the Governor. 16
3030 (2) The fund is established for use as a depositor y for 17
3131 moneys specifically transferred or appropriated to the fund. The 18
3232 moneys deposited in the fund are available as a primary funding 19
3333 source for the Governor for purposes of preparing for or 20
3434 responding to a disaster declared by the Governor as a state of 21
3535 emergency that exceeds regularly appropriated funding sources. 22
3636 (3) In accordance with s. 19(f)(2), Art. III of the State 23
3737 Constitution, the Emergency Preparedness and Response Fund 24
3838 shall, unless terminated sooner, be terminated 4 years after the 25
