25 | 25 | | Section 1. Subsection (15) is added to section 455.213, 12 |

28 | 28 | | (15) For the 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 fiscal years, the 15 |

29 | 29 | | department shall waive 50 percent of the initial licensing fee 16 |

30 | 30 | | for an applicant applying f or an initial license for a 17 |

31 | 31 | | profession under this chapter, with such waiver limited to a 18 |

32 | 32 | | maximum of $200 per year per license. The department shall waive 19 |
---|
33 | 33 | | 50 percent of a licensee's license renewal fee for a profession 20 |
---|
34 | 34 | | under this chapter, with such waiver l imited to a maximum of 21 |

35 | 35 | | $200 per year per license. Such fee waivers shall not include 22 |

36 | 36 | | any applicable unlicensed activity or background check fees. 23 |

37 | 37 | | This subsection expires July 1, 2025. 24 |
