18	18		the association's rules and covenants to every member 5

20	20		thereafter; requiring an association to provide 7
21	21		members with a copy of updated rules and covenants; 8
22	22		authorizing an association to adopt rules relating to 9
23	23		the standards and manner in which such copies are 10
24		-	distributed; ~~authorizing~~ an ~~association to post a~~ 11
25		-	~~complete copy of the association's rules and~~ 12
26		-	~~covenants, or a direct link thereto, on~~ the ~~homepage~~ 13

53		-	(a) Before October 1, 2023, an association shall provide a 28
54		-	physical or digital copy of the association's rules and 29
55		-	covenants to every member of the association. 30
56		-	(b) An association shall provide a physical or digital 31
57		-	copy of the association's rules and covenants to every new 32
58		-	member of the association. 33
59		-	(c) If an association's rules or covenants are amended, 34
60		-	the association must provide every member of the association 35
61		-	with an updated copy of the amended rules or covenants. An 36
62		-	association may adopt rules establishing standards for the 37
63		-	manner of distribution and timefram e for providing copies of 38
64		-	updated rules or covenants. 39
65		-	(d) The requirements of this subsection may be met by 40
66		-	posting a complete copy of the association's rules and 41
67		-	covenants, or a direct link thereto, on the homepage of the 42
68		-	association's website if such w ebsite is accessible to the 43
69		-	members of the association and the association sends notice to 44
70		-	each member of the association of its intent to utilize the 45
71		-	website for this purpose. Such notice must be sent in both of 46
72		-	the following ways: 47
73		-	1. By electronic mail to any member of the association who 48
74		-	has consented to receive notices by electronic transmission and 49
75		-	provided an electronic mailing address to the association for 50
