Florida Senate - 2023 CS for SB 1108 By the Committee on Commerce and Tourism; and Senator Hooper 577-03145-23 20231108c1 1 A bill to be entitled 2 An act relating to fees; amending s. 507.03, F.S.; 3 revising registration fees for moving brokers; 4 providing a contingent effective date. 5 6 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: 7 8 Section 1.Paragraph (a) of subsection (3) of section 9 507.03, Florida Statutes, is amended to read: 10 507.03Registration. 11 (3)(a)Registration fees shall be calculated at the rate of 12 $300 per year per mover and $600 per year perormoving broker. 13 All amounts collected shall be deposited by the Chief Financial 14 Officer to the credit of the General Inspection Trust Fund of 15 the department for the sole purpose of administration of this 16 chapter. 17 Section 2.This act shall take effect on the same date that 18 SB 1106 or similar legislation takes effect, if such legislation 19 is adopted in the same legislative session or an extension 20 thereof and becomes a law.
