| 34 | 34 | | jurisdictional boundaries, the board may establish a schedule of 23 |

| 48 | 48 | | by the district under this subsection shall be kept separate 27 |

| 49 | 49 | | from other revenues of the district and must be used exclusively 28 |

| 50 | 50 | | to acquire, purchase, or construct new facilities or portions 29 |

| 51 | 51 | | thereof needed to provide fire protectio n and emergency services 30 |

| 52 | 52 | | to new construction. As used in this subsection, the term "new 31 |
|---|
| 53 | 53 | | facilities" means land, buildings, and capital equipment, 32 |
|---|
| 54 | 54 | | including, but not limited to, fire and emergency vehicles, 33 |
|---|
| 55 | 55 | | radio telemetry equipment, and other firefighting or rescue 34 |
|---|
| 56 | 56 | | equipment. The board shall maintain adequate records to ensure 35 |
|---|
| 57 | 57 | | that impact fees are expended only for permissible new 36 |
|---|
| 58 | 58 | | facilities or equipment. The board may enter into agreements 37 |
|---|
| 59 | 59 | | with general purpose local governments to share in the revenues 38 |
|---|
| 60 | 60 | | from fire protection impact fees imposed by such governments. 39 |
