2525 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: 12

2727 Section 1. (1) Notwithstanding any law to the contrary, a 14
2828 county or municipality may not enact any policy, ordinance, 15
29-regulation, or other measure t hat addresses lands classified as 16
30-agricultural lands 5 acres or larger if such policy, ordinance, 17
31-regulation, or other measure requires a monetary exaction from 18
32-any amusement business owner whose equipment is placed, parked, 19
33-or stored on the agricultural l and for 6 months or longer. This 20
34-prohibition applies only if the agricultural land is fully 21
35-fenced along the perimeter and the equipment that is placed, 22
36-parked, or stored on the agricultural land is at least 100 feet 23
37-from the perimeter fencing. 24

5151 (a) "agricultural lands" means those parcels classified by 26
5252 the property appraiser as agricultural lands under s. 193.461. 27
5353 (b) "amusement business owner" means a provider of 28
5454 services affiliated with a circus or carnival such as rides, 29
5555 food, beverages, and games who tra vels around the United States 30
5656 on a seasonal or temporary basis to provide such services to 31
5757 state, district, and county fairs as defined in s. 616.001, or 32
5858 who supports events sponsored by not -for-profit organizations 33
5959 for fundraising. 34
6060 Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2024. 35
