| 27 | 27 | | (127) CURE DIABETES LICENSE PLATES. — 14 |

| 28 | 28 | | (a) The department shall develop a Cure Diabetes license 15 |

| 29 | 29 | | plate as provided in this section and s. 320.08053. The plate 16 |

| 30 | 30 | | must bear the colors an d design approved by the department. The 17 |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | word "Florida" must appear at the top of the plate, and the 18 |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | words "Cure Diabetes" must appear at the bottom of the plate. 19 |

| 33 | 33 | | (b) The annual use fees from the sale of the plate must be 20 |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | distributed equally to the follo wing organizations: 21 |

| 35 | 35 | | 1. The Diabetes Research Institute Foundation, which 22 |
|---|
| 36 | 36 | | supports the Diabetes Research Institute at the University of 23 |
|---|
| 37 | 37 | | Miami Miller School of Medicine; 24 |

| 52 | | - | 3. The University of Florida Foundation, Inc., which 27 |

| 55 | | - | proceeds received by the organization to promote and market the 30 |
