| 19 | 19 | | governance, disciplinary actions, confidentiality, and privileged nature, is amended by11 |

| 20 | 20 | | revising subsection (g) as follows:12 |

| 21 | 21 | | "(g) The commission, with the assistance of the Prosecuting Attorneys' Council of the State13 |

| 22 | 22 | | of Georgia, shall promulgate standards of conduct and rules for the commission's14 |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | governance which will comport with due process and enforce the provisions of subsections15 |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | (h) and (i) of this Code section; provided, however, that such standards and rules shall be |

| 28 | 28 | | effective only upon review and adoption by the Supreme Court. Such standards and rules17 |

| 29 | 29 | | shall allow for a full investigation of a district attorney or solicitor-general only upon18 |

| 30 | 30 | | majority vote of the investigative panel. When a commission member receives information19 |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | relating to the conduct of a district attorney or solicitor-general, such member shall provide20 |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | such information to the commission's director for appropriate action."21 |

| 34 | 34 | | This Act shall become effective upon its approval by the Governor or upon its becoming23 |
