In this paragraph (5), 8 "street racing" has the meaning ascribed to it in Section 9 11-506 of the Illinois Vehicle Code. 10 (b) Sentence. 11 (1) Mob action in violation of paragraph (1), (4), or 12 (5) of subsection (a) is a Class 4 felony. 13 (2) Mob action in violation of paragraphs (2) and (3) 14 of subsection (a) is a Class C misdemeanor. 15 (3) A participant in a mob action that by violence 16 inflicts injury to the person or property of another 17 commits a Class 4 felony. 18 (4) A participant in a mob action who does not 19 withdraw when commanded to do so by a peace officer 20 commits a Class A misdemeanor. 21 (5) In addition to any other sentence that may be 22 imposed, a court shall order any person convicted of mob 23 action to perform community service for not less than 30 24 and not more than 120 hours, if community service is 25 available in the jurisdiction and is funded and approved 26 by the county board of the county where the offense was HB1467 - 2 - LRB103 00086 RLC 45086 b HB1467- 3 -LRB103 00086 RLC 45086 b HB1467 - 3 - LRB103 00086 RLC 45086 b HB1467 - 3 - LRB103 00086 RLC 45086 b 1 committed.
