Creates the Education in Alternative Settings Study Commission to study education in juvenile justice settings and in transitions between the community and juvenile justice settings
Provides relative to the notification of and special elections to fill vacancies in elective positions on the State Board of Elementary and Secondary Education
Provides for differential Taylor Opportunity Program for Students award amounts for certain students based on their classification level (OR DECREASE GF EX See Note)
Requests that the Board of Regents study jointly with their respective management boards the possibility of revising the classification and admission standards of the University of New Orleans and Southern University at New Orleans.
Provides relative to courses that satisfy certain requirements relative to high school diplomas and Taylor Opportunity Program for Students (TOPS) awards (OR NO IMPACT See Note)
