| 27 | 27 | | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority |

| 28 | 28 | | of the same, as follows: |

| 29 | 29 | | 1 SECTION 1. Notwithstanding chapter 585 of the acts of 1947, as amended by chapter |

| 30 | 30 | | 2150 of the acts of 1981, or any other general or special law or regulation to the contrary, the |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | 3Auburn water district may transfer, sell, convey or otherwise dispose of all or portions of the |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | 4property located adjacent to 295 Leicester street in the town of Auburn, which was acquired by |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | 5the district by deed recorded at the Worcester district registry of deeds in book 25575, page 87, |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | 6said portion consisting of approximately 59 acres of land located off of the southeastern sideline |
|---|
| 35 | 35 | | 7of Leicester street in the town of Auburn and determined by the district to be not needed for |
|---|
| 36 | 36 | | 8water supply purposes. |

| 37 | 37 | | 9 SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage. |
