Municipalities and Regional Government. [Local Approval Received.] The Commonwealth of Massachusetts _______________ In the One Hundred and Ninety-Third General Court (2023-2024) _______________ An Act relative to the Auburn Water District. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows: 1 SECTION 1. Notwithstanding chapter 585 of the acts of 1947, as amended by chapter 2150 of the acts of 1981, or any other general or special law or regulation to the contrary, the 3Auburn water district may transfer, sell, convey or otherwise dispose of all or portions of the 4property located adjacent to 295 Leicester street in the town of Auburn, which was acquired by 5the district by deed recorded at the Worcester district registry of deeds in book 25575, page 87, 6said portion consisting of approximately 59 acres of land located off of the southeastern sideline 7of Leicester street in the town of Auburn and determined by the district to be not needed for 8water supply purposes. 9 SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
