2727 An Act relative to the position of police chief in the town of Leicester.
2828 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
2929 of the same, as follows:
3030 1 Section 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, Kenneth M.
3131 2Antanavica, Police Chief of the Town of Leicester, may continue to serve in the position of
3232 3Police Chief until April 30, 2025, or until the date of his retirement; provided, however, that he is
3333 4mentally and physically capable of performing the duties of his office. No further deductions
3434 5shall be made from the regular compensation of Kenneth M. Antanavica under Chapter 32 of the
3535 6General Laws for any service subsequent to April 30, 2023, and upon retirement, he shall receive
3636 7a superannuation retirement allowance equal to that which he would have been entitled had he
3737 8retired on that date.
3838 9 Section 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
