| 28 | 28 | | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | of the same, as follows: |

| 30 | 30 | | 1 Section 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, Kenneth M. |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | 2Antanavica, Police Chief of the Town of Leicester, may continue to serve in the position of |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | 3Police Chief until April 30, 2025, or until the date of his retirement; provided, however, that he is |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | 4mentally and physically capable of performing the duties of his office. No further deductions |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | 5shall be made from the regular compensation of Kenneth M. Antanavica under Chapter 32 of the |
|---|
| 35 | 35 | | 6General Laws for any service subsequent to April 30, 2023, and upon retirement, he shall receive |
|---|
| 36 | 36 | | 7a superannuation retirement allowance equal to that which he would have been entitled had he |
|---|
| 37 | 37 | | 8retired on that date. |
