the town) relative authorizing Kenneth M. Antanavica to continue to serve as police chief in the

An Act relative to the position of police chief in the town of Leicester.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
of the same, as follows:
1 Section 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, Kenneth M.
2Antanavica, Police Chief of the Town of Leicester, may continue to serve in the position of
3Police Chief until April 30, 2025, or until the date of his retirement; provided, however, that he is
4mentally and physically capable of performing the duties of his office. No further deductions
5shall be made from the regular compensation of Kenneth M. Antanavica under Chapter 32 of the
6General Laws for any service subsequent to April 30, 2023, and upon retirement, he shall receive
7a superannuation retirement allowance equal to that which he would have been entitled had he
8retired on that date.
9 Section 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
