55 (2)Evaluatethedeploymentprocess;and HCSHB2052 2 56 (3)Makerecommendationsabouthowtobestincreasebroadbandinternet 57deploymentacrossthestatetounservedandunderservedresidents. 58 8.Thetaskforceshallreportasummaryofitsactivitiesandrecommendations 59tothegeneralassemblybeforeSeptember30,2023. 60 9.(1)ThetaskforceshallsuspenditsoperationsonSeptember30,2023.At 61suchtime,allmembersofthetaskforceshallberelievedoftheirpositionsonthetask 62force. 63 (2)ThetaskforceshallresumeitsoperationsonSeptember30,2024,withanew 64setofmemberstobeselectedaccordingtotheprovisionsofsubsection2ofthissection. 65Thenewchairandthenewvicechairofthetaskforceshallbedesignatedaccordingto 66theprovisionsofsubsection3ofthissection. 67 (3)Uponresumptionofitsoperations,thetaskforceshallcontinuetoreceive 68servicesaccordingtotheprovisionsofsubsection4ofthissectionandshallcontinueto 69besubjecttoallprovisionsofsubsection5ofthissection. 70 (4)Uponresumptionofitsoperations,thetaskforceshallreviewallsummaries 71andrecommendationspreviouslymadeundersubsection8ofthissectionandshall 72continuetocarryoutthedutiesdescribedinsubsection7ofthissection. 73 (5)Uponresumptionofitsoperations,thetaskforceshallreportanupdated 74summaryofitsactivitiesandanyrecommendationsforlegislationtothegeneral 75assemblybeforeSeptember30,2025. 76 (6)Afterprovidingareporttothegeneralassemblyasrequiredunder 77subdivision(5)ofthissubsection,thetaskforceshallcontinuetomeeteverytwoyears 78untilthissectionexpires.Thetaskforceshallprovideadditionalupdatedsummariesof 79itsactivitiesandadditionalrecommendationsforlegislationtothegeneralassembly,at 80suchtimesasthetaskforcedeemsnecessary,untilthetaskforceisterminated. 81 10.Undersection23.253oftheMissourisunsetact: 82 (1)Theprovisionsofthenewprogramauthorizedunderthissectionshall 83automaticallysunsettwelveyearsaftertheeffectivedateofthissectionunless 84reauthorizedbyanactofthegeneralassembly;
