311.028.1.(1)Toqualifyas"OzarkHighlands"spirits,andtobelabeledas
2suchforsaleinMissouri,anagedproductshallmeetthefollowingconditions:
3 (a)Theproductshallbemashed,fermented,distilled,aged,andbottledinthe
4OzarkHighlandsregion;
5 (b)TheproductshallbeagedinbarrelsmanufacturedinMissouri;
6 (c)Thewatersourceshallbeuntreatedornaturalfromnaturalspringsordeep
7wellsintheOzarksHighlands,andwithoutchlorinationoraddedchemicalssuchas
8fluoride;and
9 (d)Theminimumageofawhiskeyshallbefouryears.
10 (2)Toqualifyas"OzarkHighlands"spirits,andtobelabeledassuchforsalein
11Missouri,anunagedproduct,suchasginorvodka,shallmeetthefollowingconditions:
12 (a)Theproductshallbemashed,fermented,distilled,andbottledintheOzark
13Highlandsregion;and
14 (b)Thewatersourceshallbeuntreatedornaturalfromnaturalspringsordeep
15wellsintheOzarksHighlands,andwithoutchlorinationoraddedchemicalssuchas
16fluoride.
17 2.Toadditionallyqualifyas"SingleMalt",thefinalproductshallbedistilled
18andbottledatasingledistillery.
